Award – Free Blog

It is with great regret that I must place my blog in the Award-Free category. I have been awardfreeblogincredibly ill this past week and have barely felt like reading blogs and writing the daily prompt. I have much work ahead of me to get my blog where I  want it to be, and though the awards are a great way to build friends, which I value dearly, it puts a great deal of stress on me trying to find nominees that are not award-free and/or were not previously nominated. I do not do well with added stress. I need to stay calm or I can get very ill. I always hear, “take care of yourself first” and that is what I am doing here. Thank you for understanding.

With that said. I want to thank:
Tracy at https://spooniemomblog.wordpress.com/   for nominating me for the One Lovely Blog Award. Tracy started blogging to share her experiences with chronic illness and chronic pain. She is a proud member of the Chronic Illness Bloggers Network and her aim is to advocate and promote awareness for chronic and invisible illness. She also has an Etsy shop, TheSpooniqueBoutique please take a moment to visit.

I also want to thank:
Jodie at https://itsyab.wordpress.com/  for nominating me for the Blogger Recognition Award. Jodie is a young graduate student in Business Management & English Literature, currently working her dream job in Human Resources, before starting her MSc Global Human Resources Management course at Newcastle University in September 2017. Her blog’s main focus is based on her personal experience with invisible illnesses and the constant daily battle with her health & development. Along side this, she features several guest bloggers and their amazing art or written work, or rambles about some other subject areas herself!

Please take time to visit their blogs, they are both awesome women!

This site is about invisible illnesses and the hidden suffering that they wreak on those who are burdened by them. I suffer greatly, but find writing and sharing ideas important. I use aromatherapy to relax and I enjoy crocheting, beading, painting and research. Being a country gal makes it tough to follow a diabetic diet during the winter months. During the summer, vegetables are plentiful, but during the winter they are scarce. I need advice and help on meal planning. I have a second blog, www.tinabrownsartblog.wordpress.com where I display my paintings. Not very good, but I sure enjoy painting them.
