Heal – Daily Prompt

I have been a bit absent this week when it has come to blogging and reading blogs. My husband and I have been taking care of each other as we heal from our surgeries. We are doing so much better than we were before the surgeries as far as pain is concerned.

To catch you up, he had his gallbladder removed and I had a cystoscopy with hydrodistention on my urinary bladder.

I’ve also been trying to promote my new Avon business this week. No luck. So far I’m the only customer. I always buy from everyone that is selling something, Tupperware, Scentsy, etc. I’m usually the first to help someone out when they are starting out, but not one of these people who I help out are helping me. It hurts my heart, that I go out of my way to buy their wares and they aren’t even signing up for an account with my Avon estore. I don’t know if I will heal from this. I know I won’t be buying for anyone else until I see some action on my Avon estore.

My husband and I have been sleeping a lot this week. Our chores are caught up. We help each other, so neither of us take on the whole ordeal by ourselves, like cooking, he will get in there and help me. That’s my positive for the day.

~Peace

I am glad to hear you are both healing well. I am not sure how WordPress works exactly, but I am giving it a bash and I am happy to have found your blog. The worst hurts are often ones regarding the heart. When we have expectations of people and they don’t furfill them. You sound like a very caring and considerate person..not everyone gives.. not everyone looks out for others and helps them in the way which you have. We are all very different and its often a hurtful, exhausting lesson to learn.. to give and not receive that helping hand back is hurtful but you have learnt now who is who and that not everybody we help will help us in return. i feel sure you will make a success of your new business venture if its meant to be. Dont be hard on yourself, Rome wasn’t built in a day! Good luck and happy healing to you both.x

Thank you so much, your words of kindness mean so much to me. You are right, if my business is meant to be, it will be, I firmly believe in that scenario. If you need any help with WordPress, I will offer as much as I can. I have only had my blog up since late Nov. so I am still learning too. Thank you again for your kindness.
