Read The Disclaimer

I have a disclaimer at the bottom of each of my pages and blog posts. It states:

DISCLAIMER:

This website does not provide medical advice. I am not a medical expert and claim no medical results. If readers have a medical concern, please consult your personal physician. I do not recommend or endorse any specific tests, physicians, products, procedures, opinions or other information that may be mentioned on this website. Reliance on any information appearing on this website is solely at your own risk.

Even with this disclaimer, people are emailing me for advice. I give them the same advice as I would give anyone. “Go see a doctor.”

Yes, I do a lot of research, but I do not have credentials to diagnose or advise anyone on their health issues. I wish I did, I would use it to help people, but alas, I do not therefore I will not.

To take it a step farther. I am a proofreader and I can proofread anything, but I will not do it for free. I have read many blogs that had typos, bad grammar and poor structure, but I will not advise someone on how to write, as I am not a teacher. I have enough proofreading to do with my own writing. My advice, use the spell check provided in the menu above. It works wonders. It will also find some grammar errors.

With these things said, I hope everyone understands that I am constantly working to build my website and write blogs and do not wish to hurt anyone’s feelings. I try very hard to be constructive in my opinions. And my comments are always sincere and up front.

This site is about invisible illnesses and the hidden suffering that they wreak on those who are burdened by them. I suffer greatly, but find writing and sharing ideas important. I use aromatherapy to relax and I enjoy crocheting, beading, painting and research. Being a country gal makes it tough to follow a diabetic diet during the winter months. During the summer, vegetables are plentiful, but during the winter they are scarce. I need advice and help on meal planning. I have a second blog, www.tinabrownsartblog.wordpress.com where I display my paintings. Not very good, but I sure enjoy painting them.

Sacred Journey Devotionals - Where Christianity and Metaphysics Meet

"Sacred Journey Devotionals are words filled with love, truth, patience, peace and internal exploration. Don't be afraid to follow your heart, for it is there that you will find the truth you have been searching for all this time. God loves you and wants the very best for you. More than anything, God wants to have an active and intimate relationship with you." ~ Rev. Marcia F. Davis
